1	How life can be different for those with disabilities	Arthritic Hands. Pair girls up and provide an elastic bandage, glass of water, newspaper and buttoned shirt for each pair. Have 1 partner from each pair wrap up the other’s hand in bandage and complete the following: Drink a glass of water Page through newspaper Put on and button up shirt Switch roles Discuss outcomes and difficulties experienced. 2	How to guide the blind if necessary	Blind fold games eg Guide girls around room using verbal instructions One section fall in blindfolded Blind golf – golfer hits ball and guides the blind girl to where the ball has stopped Blind times – form 2 teams. Team cheer on each girl as she is blindfolded and has to: - Pour water into a glass - Write her name on piece of paper - Walk backwards to the team to tag next girl Discuss how it felt not to be able to see while doing tasks Make points to note on how to guide blind person	Healing a blind man Mark 10: 46-52 Memory verse Mark 10:52	Pin hole picture Using blunt yarn needle, poke holes in black construction paper to outline Church (or picture of choice). Tape to transparency sheet and hang at window so light shines through
3	How life can be different for those with disabilities God’s love is for all people	One handed art- form pairs – girls can work together but can only use one hand (dominant hand tied up) Spend part of the night with one limb tied up eg right arm tied to their body or hop on one leg for period of time. Prepare some food in this state. Play handball with dominant hand tied up Learn to play Bingo	Good Samaritan Luke 10: 25-37 Memory verse Matthew 19:19	Create mobile with map of world and pictures of children of different nationalities hanging
4	The best way to speak to someone who lip reads Learn some basic words in sign language	Play Chinese Whispers followed by reading each other’s lips without making a sound. Make up signals for various commands Learn some sign language Choose best way to communicate for different disabilities Learn about hearing aids Go on nature walk - a listening walk and list sounds heard	Healing an Epileptic Boy Mark 9: 14-32	Make believer’s plaque Write word believe in large letters on piece of golf or silver foil cut to size of foam meat tray. Glue sequins to the letters.
