5: Indoor CampingINDOOR CAMPING COURSE AIM: To help the Pioneer develop skills required for planning and leading an Indoor Camp. PRE-REQUISITES 1. Completed one advanced Pioneer Leadership Training Course 2. Show an interest in accepting Leadership responsibility 3. Be at least 16 years of age. This Course Covers 1. Christian Leadership 2. The benefits created by Indoor Camping 3. Aims of Christian Camping 4. All aspects of efficient camp planning and preparation 5. Duties and responsibilities of Camp Leaders 6 Development of a resource file of activities 7. Introduction to Risk Management and Duty of Care 8. Practical assessment of skills learnt Training Outcome At the end of the training sessions the Pioneer will be able to: Assist in the organisation and running of a Company or Divisional Camp - under the supervision of the Captain or Divisional Commissioner. Plan and organise an overnight sleepover in a Church Hall or private home - under the supervision of the Captain or Divisional Commissioner. Set up or further develop a Resource file including songs, games and activities.
