2: Juniors
Juniors can earn four Circles. The symbols for these four awards signify the Motto SEEK, SERVE AND FOLLOW CHRIST. BLUE - SEEK GREEN - SEEK, SERVE RED - SEEK, SERVE AND FOLLOW GOLD - SEEK, SERVE AND FOLLOW CHRIST For each Award a girl must do one achievement from each aspect of the Programme - Spiritual, Physical, Educational and Social. Usually one Award per year, starting with Blue and working through to Gold.
BRIGADE KNOWLEDGE which can be counted as a Spiritual Achievement must be completed before a girl can earn her second circle (Green) award Information on Service Awards can be obtained from the AWARDS section of this website. OPERATION REACHOUT AWARDS Girls' Brigade encourages companies to learn about Brigade in other countries by offering a special Award for each Fellowship. This is an extra Award which the girls can gain. Each fellowship has a different colour. Africa - Green American/Caribbean - Pale Blue Asia - Maroon Europe - White Pacific - Blue UNIFORM Juniors wear a Royal Blue Skirt with a white short sleeve overblouse with a crest on the pocket. A Royal Blue Sash on which the badges are worn. A Royal Blue Forage Cap with a navy woven crest. Short white ankle socks, flat black/brown school shoes, Royal Blue hair tie.
